Kitchen Blenders

I really want to make almond milk or any other nut milk for that matter but i was looking at the nut milk recipes shown on Youtube and like all of them had the Vita-Mix blender so i was wondering if it would turn out okay just using my regular kitchen aid blender. Thanks a million!!! = ]

I have noticed now that a lot of places are selling the Cuisinart blender with a food processor top that comes with it. So you can either change it to the blender or the food processor, only by changing the container, and you still keep the same base. Is there something like that, that I can just add on or buy, since i already have the actual blender?

I searched on the Cuisinart site and apparently they don't have a food processor top for that model. These are the only parts that come along with it:

I threw out the box to it. So this adds to where this question is going. I took the top part off to wash it. But I don't know how to get it back on. If anyone has one, or knows how to get it back on please help. Thank you.
