I think I would like to buy a Vita-Mix blender. My first question is what model should I buy?
Thursday, March 19th, 2009I'd also like to make sure that this is going to do what I want it to do. I really want it to make juice. I want it to grind up everything into juice. A typical one would be carrots, beets, celery, spinach, wheat grass. I have a juicer and I can't stand it because of the cleanup. I want to make this a lot easier on myself since I'm planning on making these veggie/fruit things a few times a day. Does the vitamix grind up everything (skin, pits/seeds, stems)? I'd like to skip that part of juicing when you have to dump out all of the fiber. It's just such as mess. Right now I'm spending a fortune at the health store, buying fresh juices. I'm easily spending $80.00 a week which makes the price of the Vita-Mix well worth it. Thoughts? Thanks for your help.
even if it did grind up the pits seeds some of those items are bitter and would ruin the good taste of the juice. the model you decide would be on the price package you would like. you may even want to save and get one of the refurbrished ones.
detour- did you check out the jack lalane one?
