The sealing ring to my kitchenaid 5 speed ultra blender is stuck to the blender how can i take it off?

the black rubber part at the bottom of the blender

The above answers are correct, hot water will do it. However, I would not use a blade or any sharp object on it. Remember, by taking your time to soak it (which is the key), you’ve made the rubber seal very soft and pliable. You risk nicking & damaging it in a way you may not even notice at first. This will shorten your seals lifespan, and then you’ll end up having to find a replacement part.

Good luck!

What are the capabilities of the Bosch Universal Kitchen Machine Blender?

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

I am looking into getting the Bosch, my current mixer just isn’t big enough. If I am going to spend that much money I want to know how well the attached blender works. I understand it can crush ice, but can it make & heat soups, sauces, etc. like the Vita-Mix?
I guess I worded the question wrong. I am interested in hearing from people who have used it. Is it one of those blenders you avoid using because its so wimpy, or does it really grind grain like it says it can?

Is there a difference between the Magic Bullet and a regular kitchen blender?

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

My magic bullet top broke and while it was out of commision I noticed that its just like a blender only tiny as far as the blade is concerned. Is there a difference between a blender and magic bullet? Can I grind anything in a blender?
I already own it its just one of the tops broke, the good one too. I can replace it on ebay. Thanks guys.

I think that the Magic Bullet must have a stronger motor or something because, no, you cannot do the same things with a regular blender.

Is there some kitchen gadget available to make soup smooth?

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

Why is my Carrot soup smooth but coarse? I tend to make lots of Veggie Soup and blend in a Magimix Blender. However the soup has texture although a very fine texture, I would love a smooth soup, just like the shop bought ones?

Is there any kitchen appliance or gadget available to help smooth my soup?

If you sieve it then you can make it smoother.

Which Kitchen Hand Blender would you recommend and why?

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

I am looking for a hand blender, nothing fancy just something which will easily blend a selection of soft fruits to make smoothies, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I would go with a kitchen aid. Just make sure you have a plastic handle, but a metal blending stick and you should be ok. the kitchen aid is ligthweight and powerful. it does a great job on all the thing i blend
